The Couple Formula is a one-of-a-kind couple's program in your choice of two beautiful locations in Colorado. The program offers a 2-day intensive followed by 60 days of daily practices supported by three additional online sessions with your practitioner. It was designed by two highly experienced couple's therapists who, after years of facilitating traditional 60-90 minute couple's therapy sessions, saw the need for a different structure to help couples succeed in building the relationship that they want.

What Is the Couple Formula Intensive?

The Couple Formula program is a two-month program that begins with a two day, in-person intensive with a Couple Formula provider of your choice. The intensive is followed by a 60 day program with daily practices that build on the concepts learned in the intensive. Three follow up online sessions with your Couple Formula provider are included as well, to support and guide you through the 60 days post-intensive. The Couple Formula's 60 day program helps build new habits of behavior and interaction to facilitate long-term change.

Analisa and Caelen created The Couple Formula 60-day program after years of facilitating traditional 60-90 minute couple's therapy sessions. They saw the need for a different structure than traditional weekly or bi-weekly sessions to help some couples succeed in creating authentic and lasting change in their dynamic, and in building the relationship that they want. Caelen and Analisa spent hours talking while hiking, raising kids, or sharing a meal together with their husbands, or consulting with each other professionally. Out of these inspired conversations, their  combined training in attachment based couple's therapy, and decades of clinical work, they designed The Couple Formula 60 Day Program and are excited to share it with you.

    "You are in each other's care" (Stan Tatkin, founder of the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy). Intimate relationships offer a unique closeness based on the neuro-biology of primary attachment, the interdependency in creating a life together, and connection through attraction. The Couple Formula program helps couples deepen their intimacy by understanding and knowing each other better, and by reworking old dysfunctional patterns into more fulfilling ways of caring for each other. Note: The Couple Formula is not sex therapy, but it can address the interpersonal and attachment issues that can lead to sexual issues.

    Each Couple Formula therapist is trained in attachment theory with a deep understanding of how attachment styles impact relationships. Your Couple Formula Practitioner will get a detailed history of both partners; and by observation through the lens of her knowledge she will explain how your past is impacting your present. She will work with you, in action, to change how you get what you need and how you care for each other.
